Cedric Chene is the 5th generation to make wine on the family estate in southern Burgundy.  The estate of 60 acres is located about 40 miles north of Macon.  Here they make a red wine from Pinot Noir, Macon Village 100% chardonnay (no oak) and a delicious white wine from very old vines, Aligote. They are the best quality to price wines I import. One retailer in Chicago sold 500 cases of the Pinot Noir in 2007 from a single store!  They produce only about 10,000 cases a year of several cuvees.
